Artist Statement 

I am a watercolour artist from New Zealand, and a Manager for the International Watercolour Society, New Zealand Branch. My watercolour semi abstract landscape paintings are inspired by New Zealand landscapes, and strive to convey the spiritual connection we have with our landscapes.

I use gravity ( tilting board) and water from a spray bottle to move pigments on the paper. This is using spiritual forces to influence the composition. I also use transparent pigments, and allow the colours to mix on the paper to try and display a wide array of tones, values and colours.
